LiFePO4 Golf Cart Batteries
Most carts run a 36V or 48V pack built from six or eight lead-acid blocks. A single LiFePO4 pack replaces the whole string and removes the two jobs owners dislike most: topping up water, and swapping in a dead cell that has dragged the rest of the string down.
Check the voltage on the controller before ordering — 36V and 48V carts are not interchangeable. Older carts are usually 36V; most modern ones are 48V.
What changes day to day. LiFePO4 is roughly a third of the weight of the lead-acid string it replaces, which the drivetrain notices on hills. Voltage stays flat as the pack drains, so the cart does not slow down over the back nine. And there is no watering, no equalising charge and no terminal corrosion to clean.
