12V LiFePO4 Batteries for RVs, Campers and Boats

A 12V lithium battery is the drop-in replacement for the lead-acid house bank in most RVs, campers, vans and small boats. GLCE 12V LiFePO4 packs run from 100Ah to 314Ah, so you can size the bank to how long you actually stay off-grid rather than to whatever fits the old battery box.

How to choose the capacity. Multiply amp-hours by 12.8V to get usable energy — a 100Ah pack holds about 1.28kWh, a 280Ah pack about 3.58kWh. A fridge, lights and phone charging over a weekend typically needs 100–200Ah; running an inverter for cooking or a rooftop air conditioner points to 280Ah or more.

Why LiFePO4 instead of lead-acid. You can safely use nearly the full capacity instead of half, the pack weighs roughly a third less for the same usable energy, and it lasts thousands of cycles rather than hundreds.

Bluetooth models let you check state of charge, voltage and cell temperature from your phone. Every battery ships with a built-in smart BMS.
